Once someone is 18 or older, they will need to reach out and schedule the appointment themselves. We know it comes from a caring place, but adults have to take that first step on their own — it is an important part of the process.
Yes! For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian sets up the appointment and provides consent. We find it important to build a trusting relationship directly with the teen, so parents stay minimally involved — but still involved every step of the way.
We work with families of teens to strengthen their relationships — helping make the last years at home together more peaceful, connected, and enjoyable.

Sometimes life feels like too much — the stress builds, things get complicated, and you realize you have been trying to figure it all out alone for longer than you should. That is where I come in.
I am Gayle, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with adults, teens, and families. My approach is warm, grounded, and judgment-free. I meet you where you are, ask the right questions, and walk alongside you as you work toward real, lasting change. I am especially passionate about helping high-achieving parents and families heal the emotional patterns they never wanted to pass on — often using EMDR and CBT to get to the root. I welcome anyone ready for real, lasting change.
Clients often say I'm easy to talk to — and that they leave sessions feeling clearer, lighter, and more like themselves. During in-person visits, they also love meeting Dreidel, my certified therapy dog and a beloved part of my practice.
I genuinely care about the people I work with — and I show it. Every session, every client, every time.
Whatever you are going through, you will find a safe, honest space here. Zero judgment, always.
I hold you accountable for your wins and setbacks — because that is how real change happens.
